The Marathon passes just down the street from my house so every year I make my way down to watch the runners pass. It was really hot today. I can barely imagine running a few blocks in the best of circumstances – forget about 26+ miles in 90 degree heat. I’m glad there are people are not able to do that but who are willing to do it. I enjoy watching them pass and like some of the shots I got today.
It’s been long enough since the season ended to create a little Sox content. There is perhaps no more ubiquitous symbol of New England than the Red Sox cap. The dropped “r” is a close second but come on, the blue hat with the red “B” is like a beacon. Here are a dozen photographs of fans from over the years.
