I just finished presenting a basic primer on social media to the rest of the management team here at Weber Shandwick in Cambridge. As seems to be the case in most of the organizations I come into contact with, the level of enthusiasm is directly proportional to the level of understanding.
Some of my colleagues are totally gung-ho and have already done some pretty cool things for their clients. Others (often with very good reason) are slower to embrace what is happening. By the end of the session – which featured some really good conversations – everyone seemed more excited that when we started; and you can’t argue with that.
